The SAT Math test is not a math test.
Strange, I know, but it’s true–the SAT assesses your critical thinking more than it does your math aptitude. In other words, you can pull straight A’s in math class and still only score average or below-average.
Then what am I supposed to do?
Instead of mindlessly lecturing you on the 3+ years of math you’ll find on the SAT, we’ll spend time going over the concepts and skills that really matter, including:
- Simple tips and tricks that will save you valuable time and energy on even the most convoluted problems
- Need-to-know calculator mechanics, which have become more important than ever now that the test is fully digital
- Targeted content review to fill gaps in your math knowledge on an as-needed basis
- Guided and independent practice using authentic, College Board-approved practice materials.
I still don’t believe you.
Watch me break down a real SAT problem using two different approaches: what you might learn in school, and what the College Board doesn’t want you to know about. Yes, it really can be this simple.
