I never liked note packets. Luckily, you don’t need them.
An intuition-based understanding and plenty of practice are all you need to master any math topic.
Here are just some of the things that set me apart from other math tutors:
- Patience. I get it–learning can be vulnerable and overwhelming, especially with math. That’s why I not only accept but encourage having explanations repeated multiple times and in different ways, to make sure the idea really sticks.
- Flexibility. One day, a discussion on evaluating limits could leapfrog two years into one about factoring quadratics–that’s okay! Learning math is an iterative process, so I’m prepared to take any measures necessary to ensure both the relevant topics and preceding building blocks are firmly grasped.
- Tangibility. You might think of a math lecture as involving a chalkboard full of unintelligible equations and figures, but what good is the learning process if you don’t understand the material? During sessions, you’ll see me use analogies, illustrations, and direct engagement to ensure even the toughest ideas in any topic make intuitive sense.
